Liberty Baptist Church

An Independent Baptist Church in Newport Beach, CA

“…How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?” – Romans 10:14

At Liberty Baptist Church in Orange County, California, it is our desire and goal to reach all the peoples of the world. That definitely includes the Deaf! The community of Deaf in Orange County is very large, so we have worked very hard to make sure that we have a special place for you to come to church and see good Bible teaching and preaching in ASL. So come join us!

You will enjoy the helpful preaching by our pastor, Dwight Tomlinson, and the “old fashioned” music interpreted into dynamic ASL!

Interpreted Services:

Sundays at 10:00 AM & 5:00 PM

Wednesdays at 7:00 PM

Special Events:

• Deaf Dutch Lunch:
First Sunday of every month, all are invited to join us after the 10:00 AM morning service for a “Dutch treat” lunch at local restaurant. (Location varies every month.)

Deaf, Hard of Hearing, ASL Students, and friends of the Deaf all welcome.

First time Deaf visitors receive free lunch!

• Deaf fellowships — these are scheduled throughout the year; contact us to sign up to be notified via email.

• Special Deaf outreach opportunities

• ASL Sign Language: Our interpreters receive ongoing training in ASL. Intensive classes in ASL are scheduled periodically as well.

All events at Liberty Baptist Church are interpreted and/or voice interpreted, and orally interpreted. FM assistive listening devices (ALDs) are available for all services. All buildings are wheelchair accessible. Nursery and children’s classes available for all services.
